Pogradec is a wonderful small town. Situated in the heart of Albania right on the coast of Lake Ohrid, the town has a wonderful laid back atmosphere. Locals love strolling in the parks and on the shore. In the evenings, small groups of gentlemen congregate to have a round or two of traditional board games.

The board or to be precise – the cardboard, has multiple boxes which were drawn out with colour pencils. Two players move a number of stones picked up from the shore around the boxes. To be honest, I’ve still no clue how they play the game.
