Szechenyi Chain Bridge. Not many European cities generated as much excitement for me as Budapest. A fantastic city capturing the essence of Central Europe. I drew this on the bankside of the Danube. Took me about an hour and a half to complete this. I remembered how cold it was after completing this drawing. A tourist from Germany was fascinated with this drawing, he asked me to pose for photos and also took a video.
I stayed a couple of blocks away from St Stephen’s Basilica and the great square. I’ve actually drawn this building twice – on my A5 and this one on an A4 moleskine.
